A Legacy Built on Dough, Determination, and Family

In 1904, Gaetano Di Rienzo opened his doors with a wooden paddle, a family recipe, and a vision: bake honest bread and serve the people around you. More than a century later, that same spirit still rises from our ovens each morning.

We’ve weathered change, grown through generations, and kept our roots planted right here on Henry Street. What hasn’t changed? The early mornings, the flour on our aprons, and the belief that bread should be made with care.

Today, Carmen’s children, Chris and Stacey, carry on the tradition, shaping each loaf with the same dedication passed down from Gaetano.

“This bakery raised us. It’s not just our business—it’s our family table, our history, and our future.”

— Carmen Di Rienzo, Third Generation Baker

Because at Di Rienzo Bakery, we know one thing for sure: It’s the bread that makes the sandwich.

“We’re not just baking bread. We’re carrying a legacy—and we’re just getting started.”

— Chris Di Rienzo, Fourth Generation
